Purposes

  1. Equip students with professional skills and theories in the field of international economics and trade, and the area of international management.
  2. Equip students with research and analytical skills for international economics and trade, and knowledge of international management, in such a way that they are capable of problem solving by applying the knowledge they have acquired.
  3. Students are trained to write papers on international economics and trade and international management, and to work as a team to prepare for careers or further studies.

Characteristics

Students undergo rigorous training in finance and trade analysis, thereby developing professional capabilities for international management and trading services; for further academic research or practical jobs related to trade or core staff of business units, foreign language skills and vocational competitiveness are strengthened to enhance students’ performances.

Future careers:

Our aspiring students seek jobs in industries such as trade, finance, business management, and the government sector. Our graduates are expected to apply their knowledge and skills at work no matter what career path they take.

Further education:

Our graduates are equipped for study at domestic or overseas postgraduate schools in the fields of international trade, financial banking, international enterprises, business management, including MBA or EMBA programs. Licenses and certificates: Our students are prepared to take the International Trade Certification Examination and to obtain certificates in finance or foreign exchange, and to secure professional licenses such as Level C Technician for International Trade.
