Objectives
To fill up a gap of religious research previously
existing in the development of
humanities and sociology, this department is committed
to cultivating students the abilities of performing
academic research, the respect for religious treasures,
and the aspiration of pursuing advanced study.
Instead of promoting the doctrine or the influence
of a certain religious belief, our program is
tailored for the preparation of administrative
leaders or managers of religious groups to meet
the actual demands of modern society.
Curricular Focus
Religious theory, humanistic thoughts, and the
past and contemporary development of Western religions
constitute the three domains of study in this
