Objectives
Department of Foreign Languages and Literature
focuses on the study of foreign languages &
literature. English is the major language of study,
with optional Japanese and French courses to pursue
as minor languages. Amid the literary courses,
a strong emphasis is placed on the study of English
& American literature to develop students¡¦
abilities in appreciating foreign literary works.
This program has therefore a combinational training
of theory and practicality to meet the actual
demand of job market.
Curricular Focus
To
equip students with utmost language proficiency
upon graduation, we have divided our curriculum
into three categories, i.e. English Conversation
and Lab Drills; English & American Literature;
Business English and Interpersonal Communication.
Career Prospective
Upon graduation, students are well - prepared
to go to graduate schools or meet real challenges
from business world, schools, government sectors,
and mass media, making the best use of the language
skill they acquire from this school. |
