Objectives
This program brings the learning of Japanese into
full play by providing a variety of practical
courses, in addition to the study of general Japanese.
Curricular Focus
Students center on the learning of general Japanese
during the first two years, and then explore Japanese
literature, linguistics, economics, culture, and
business in the last two years of study.
Application
In addition to cultivating professionals specializing
in Japanese literature and language which the
traditional Japanese Department has been doing,
we in this program are in the process of opening
other courses, covering Japanese economics, society,
culture, and business, in preparation for advanced
study or going straight to the job market.
