Objectives
This program cultivates professionals of leisure
and recreational business who deal with the
supply/demand issues of leisure and recreational
resources management in modern society so as to
enhance the welfare of social economy.
Curricular Focus
Our curriculum has been designed in a way to
meet the requirements of domestic tourism
industry as well as school criteria suggested by
American Leisure & Recreation Committee.
Students are under guidance to pursue study in
the areas of planning & development of
leisure/recreational resources, recreational
business management, leisure/recreational
systems, design of leisure/recreational
activities, quality ensuring of recreational
services, and explore courses of two other
curricular programs, i.e. flight services
management and hotel & restaurant management, to
broaden scope of learning.
Career Prospective
In addition to practical experience that is
mainly an internship program of 300 hours in a
practice hotel, we have provided both general
and professional courses including statistics
and system analysis & design in the curriculum
to help students lay a solid academic
foundation. |
